Is there a way to embed files from the internet archive into omeka?

Edit: I apologize, this comes from Omeka S. I’m not sure if the same options are available in Classic, but it’s worth a try.

I think so, yes! Are you embedding Internet Archive files in pages, or as items/media?

We’ve been able to embed things in pages using the HTML block. However, there’s a setting we had to turn off so the text editor doesn’t strip out the embed code:

  1. Under Admin in the sidebar, click Settings
  2. Scroll down to the Security section and where it says Use HTMLPurifier, uncheck the box and then save your settings
  3. If you’ve already added the embed code, you’ll want to delete it and paste in a fresh copy.

For items, here’s an Omeka S thread about it Book images at high quality - #5 by AllanaMayer - not sure if that could work for Classic, too. Hopefully somebody more knowledgeable can weigh in.
