Assigning Items to Simple Pages?

Hi all, I’ve created several Simple Pages in my Omeka Classic site to organise content (e.g. book chapters or thematic sections), and I’m wondering: Is there a way to assign specific items to Simple Pages? When adding a new item, the only option I see is to place it in a collection, but I’d like certain documents to appear directly under their relevant Simple Page instead.
