WMS overlay when adding item / collecting

I am exploring the WMS capabilities in Omeka-S. I have been able to set up a site page with a Map By Query block that includes an WMS overlay from our web map server. That works great and is a very nice feature.

My question is if it is possible to add overlays to the Mapping tab when adding an Item and also when Collecting. I do not see those features so I suspect not but wanted to ask the question.

It is not possible to add WMS overlay in those places. There is an open issue about possibly adding them to item add/edit maps, but we have no plans to add them to Collecting maps.
