What's the best approach to programmatically delete an image (and its derivative files as well)?

Hi.

Just noticed that the AdminImages plugin does not really delete the images (and their derivative files), but only the information about the image itself.

In order to fix the code, what would be the best approach to programmatically delete the files? Any suggestion?
