It never crossed my mind that Metadata Browse on the public side would only work for items. Since this module was devloped by the Omeka Team, is there any plan on updating it so that it is also compatible with Media metadata on the public side? Right now it just throws the error: “Page not found. Reason: error-controller-cannot-dispatch”
The public sites don’t support browsing for media, so there’s nothing for Metadata Browse to point to.
We should be handling that more gracefully and not leading to an error page, but for public that means just not having metadata browse for media.
