Separate template for "Event/Agent" vs "Base Resource" of dc:type=event/agent?

Hi everyone

I’ve seen that the “Base Resource” template provides all means theoretically necessary to create an item entry for an “Event” for “Agent” class.

Coming from classical SQL-table thinking and data design, I’d feel drawn to create separate resource templates for types like “Event” or “Agent”.

For example, if I have a field for “creator”, I’d like to suggest existing Agents. With the “base resource” approach, I seem to only list /all/ existing items.

How is your experience here?
Any comments on one over the other?
How does it feel when working with it?

Thank you very much!

Resource templates are certainly designed to be used the way that you suggest, making them much more specific to your needs and the data types that are appropriate to the values that you need.

Base Resource is really just a starter.

Thank you!
This confirms my assumption.
