I was wondering if it is possible to create a new user role to allow access to view assets and private items via the API credentials.

In the Omeka User Roles and Permissions documentation, Researcher is almost a match, except for the inability to see private items. I want to be able for my colleagues to see all items using the API, without having the ability to edit/delete/add things, but our organisation has certain objects we want to keep private from external users. Could this be possible?
