Php problem with site, how to update?

I need to update my site, http://harlemcore.com/omeka/ ,to run on php 5.5 or preferably php7.0.
How do I do that?

Omeka should run fine on both php 5.5 and php 7. Are there specific bugs or errors you are seeing?

I had the same problem with the install saying the php version was wrong.
it is 5.5 according to cpanel so i will check with the hosting support.

yes, there is all this text at the top of the page that I can not get rid of. Check this out, please -

That looks like you are using an older version of Omeka. What version are you on? (It should say at the bottom of any admin-side page).

I’m guessing/hoping that updating to the current version of Omeka and the ExhibitBuilder plugin will do it.

It’s also a little unusual for a production server to show Strict Standards messages. The server settings can safely hide those without causing real problems.

It looks like this-

Strict Standards: Declaration of Tag::fieldIsUnique() should be compatible with Omeka_Record::fieldIsUnique($field, $value = NULL) in /home/ej7/harlemcore.com/omeka/application/models/Tag.php on line 0

I can not post a link for some reason but please do look at the omeka section of my website, harlemcore.com

Please help… I am still having problems with the Omeka section of my site…
