I am contemplating using Omeka for a project, and notice there isn’t really a good place for questions like mine where you’re not sure if Omeka would work for what you have in mind, much less which version would work best. It seems like I’m not alone, as I see several questions in this “Forum Feedback” section, and in both the Omeka Classic and Omeka S sections that seem to be along similar lines, so it feels like some sort of pre-“sales”/pre-installation section, or just opening up the “Getting Started” section to new topics would be very helpful!

Thanks for this suggestion. We have re-opened the Getting Started section for exactly these questions. We also have some updated resources that need to be published to help with these decisions.
