The newest version of Omeka S is out: version 2.0.1! This follows right on the heels of the initial release of version 2.0.0, so I’ve combined them into the same announcement post. Users upgrading should go straight to version 2.0.1.

Please note that most modules and themes will need to be updated when you upgrade to version 2.0. All the addons by the Omeka team (current versions list the author as “Omeka Team,” older versions may say “Roy Rosenzweig Center for History & New Media”) have updated versions that support Omeka S 2.0, but if you’re using modules or themes from other developers, make sure there’s an updated version before you upgrade.
Omeka S 2.0.1 is a small release fixing a few issues, particularly a few relating to users running on MariaDB. See the release notes for more details on what was changed.
