There appears to be a bug with the date in the bibliographic citation where it subtracts one year from the year in an item’s date field.
For example the date of the item is set at 1916:
https://archives.library.wcsu.edu/omeka-s/s/digital/item/15555
The date field in the citation has 1915:
Clark, Walter, 1846-1924. 1915. Ballots for Both , Digital Archival Objects at WestConn , accessed October 23, 2025, Ballots for Both · Digital Archival Objects at WestConn · Omeka-S - A digital resource administered by the Western CT State University Archives
Otherwise, a very useful module.
Just a stab in the dark without any knowledge about this module: what’s your timezone set to in General Settings?
Eastern standard - I assume- I don’t remember setting it. Where is that set - in the site or for the omeka-s instance? I see what you’re getting at, though.
It’s set for the installation under Settings → General.
America/New_York is what I have.
And if you set it to UTC, or a Europe timezone, does that affect the display of the date in the citation at all?
I changed it to Europe/London - the citation is unchanged and apparently still subtracting a year.
Hmmm, well I guess it’s not that then. Was worth a try.
