We’re running Omeka-S 4.1.1 on managed hosting (image-based container deployed) and are working toward full-text search across our collections
We’re planning to request/implement the following stack:
- ExtractText 2.1.0 - pull file content into extracttext:extracted_text
- AdvancedSearch 3.4.61
- SearchSolr 3.5.68 - increase search efficiency & flexibility
A colleague has successfully tested this on a laptop based mirror site and our hosting provider is generally familiar with Solr via ArchivesSpace.
We’re looking for real-world experience/insights/advice with this stack in production; specifically any issues around the fact that our hosting is via image-based container deployment- particularly around the SearchSolr Composer dependency (solarium/solarium + symfony/event-dispatcher)
Asking at the suggestion of our host support team prior to embarking on implementation.
