How can I edit the Browse Items page to show more than just the Title of the work without clicking on the item? Ideally it would be nice to scroll through the Browse Items page and quickly looking at Title, Creator, and Date. The CSS Editor plugin does not work with making these changes. Any alternatives?

The elements that appear on the browse item page varies from theme to theme, but cannot be adjusted by the user in the Omeka.net platform. So you might try several of the available themes to find one that matches your use case. The most common formation is Title and Description.
