As a (still partial) answer to the Items visibility problem (see https://forum.omeka.org/t/limiting-item-visibility-to-owned-ones-in-logged-user-mode), I’ve just created a new plugin: Limit Visibility To Own.
Basically, plugin allows administrators to choose which roles are allowed to see all Items/Collections, and which roles are limited only to their own contributed Items/Collections.
As usual suggestions, comments and pull requests are welcome.
Possible improvement: a button in items/browse page, enabled for those roles that have not been limited by the plugin, so that by toggling the button they could see just their own contributed items or all of them (a separate button would be better than changing the quickfilter, since it would provide the chance to still use the quickfilter function in order to further narrow down the items list).
