Omeka S users should be aware that the team has released three important new modules:
- Extract Metadata is a module to capture and map metadata that is embedded in media. It is a companion to the Extract Text module.
- Data Cleaning is a low level module for auditing and cleaning resource metadata. Given the data destruction that is possible with this module, we urge that back up your data and use caution in making your transformations. Changes cannot be undone.
- Data Visualization is a module to create visualizations with a data set derived from resource metadata. Currently the module includes bar chart, column chart, and pie chart diagrams, but can be extended to include new kinds of visualizations in the future.
