Migrating from one server to another

Hello - I’m trying to migrate an omeka installation from one server to another (both reclaim hosting, via c-panel and FTP.

I followed the second half of these instructions:

Importing Installations in Installatron

And I can get the installation to appear on server #2; however, the only site that will load is the main page : Hispanic San Antonio History --- St. Mary's University Department of History

Any subpage produces a 404 error; and clicking the http://stmupublichistory.org/hispanicsanantonio/admin link in cpanel also produces a 404 error.

Originally the site was hosted at: (http://hispanicsanantoniohistory.com/)
I also tried cloning it to Hispanic San Antonio History --- St. Mary's University Department of History and then importing it to server 2 in case it had something to do with the extension, but that didn’t seem to change the result.

Typically when the homepage works and everything else is a 404, that’s a sign that the .htaccess file that should be at the top level of the Omeka folder is missing or that there’s a problem with it.

Yes! That didn’t match the original - any documentation on how to fix it?

Nevermind - I copy pasted it over, but when I re-imported it saved as htaccess instead of .htaccess. I renamed the file and now the site is working. @jflatnes saves the day again!
