Migrate omeka.net account to hosted account

We are a Spanish public library using an omeka.net account. We have setup a new Omeka instance hosted in a server owned by the library. We are backed by an IT department who are assisting us to perform the migration.

What is the best way to get the existing data in order to dump it in the new Omeka instance? Can you provide us some MySQL/documents dump o similar? Maybe a zip in a FTP site?

It might not grab everything, but the most straightforward approach is to use the Omeka API Import plugin in your new installation. You’ll just need to turn on the API in your .net site, and run the importer from your new site.
