Manage multi-entity

Hello,

I am not sure this is the right topic for this post.

I would like to use Omeka for a project and I wonder if is adapted for me.
In the examples of use, there is one entity (bookk, document)

I wonder if OMEKA can manage multi entities.
For example, I would like to have

An entity Book
An entity Author
An entity Collection

With this relations
A book is linked with one or several Collections
A book is linked with one or several Collections

(this is an example, I know that many book cataloging tools exist)
