Unfortunately, at some point the website started to load really slowly.
I’ve contacted the host support — no issues on their end.

Hard to say for sure from the outside. It doesn’t seem particularly slow at the moment; maybe it’s a problem that comes and goes?
My first guess would be that it’s related to heavy traffic: maybe crawlers, of which there are many nowadays. If you’re on shared hosting it could even be traffic to other sites than yours causing yours to be slow.
Server logs of traffic to your site, looking at resource usage like CPU and memory, how long database queries are taking and how many simultaneous users you have, that kind of thing is what I’d normally look at.
