I’m supporting a site which was recently upgraded to 2.8, using a customized theme, and new items are not appearing on the public side, except for the title. All other metadata is visible in the dashboard.
What version were you using before? We haven’t changed too much about this functionality in a while so this is a little surprising. Do the stock themes work correctly?
We were a few versions behind, and leaped forward to keep up with a pHp change on BlueHost. I’ll check out other themes. It’s especially strange because other items added since the upgrade DO appear normally

Well at any rate the obvious point of suspicion would be something in the items/show.php of the custom theme.
