Hello, so its my first time in omeka and I’m having an issue with the still pictures I upload. I upload them in items and they are emtpy when I’m browsing. They only show up if I click on the url. I hope you undterstood the problem I’m describing.

It sounds like you may need to set the path to ImageMagick in admin/settings. It’s usually something like /bin or /usr/bin.
I have already tried it but when i test it pops up the message saying that it doesn’t work 
Your webhost can probably give you the correct path.
