Is it possible to link carousel images to their collection? (BootStrap Theme)

In the past I was using the Center Row theme which has a front page slider that links the slider image to the collection page when clicked.

I just switched to the Bootstrap theme, since it’s browse and item pages are much cleaner in appearance. Is it possible to link the images from the Bootstrap theme carousel to their collection? My coding is a little rusty at the moment, so any help would be appreciated.
