Niche question that’s probably unimportant as suggested here, but still asking for peace of mind moving forward. For one reason or another we have had to do several deletes and reimports and updates on a project we’re working on where we are using custom ids in the url for most, but not all items. As a result of the reimports, the omeka assigned ids have crept as high as 36641. Is there any reason to think that high id numbers could be a liability at some point?
The maximum value of an Omeka ID is limited only by the underlying database, which is 2,147,483,647. To put that into perspective, you’d have to redo everything you’ve already done 58,000 more times to reach that limit. High ID numbers are not a liability.
