Index page for site without navigation

Hi All,

Is there a way to hide the index page for a site from the navigation? Currently, the index page is the first one in the navigation list, but that also includes the page name in the navigation bar, which seems very 1997.

Is my only option hacking my theme to not-display the first thing in the navigation list?

There is a github issue on that, but not yet implemented: https://github.com/omeka/omeka-s/issues/1286. You can vote for it!
