Importing a new resource template

Hello Everyone!

I want to use Okea to build a database for my college’s rocks and minerals and I want to create a new resource for the specific data I have that the default Dublin Core does not include, is that possible? Has anyone successfully imported a new schema? if so how?

What I tried so far is to use the Dublin core and use an alternate text to change it to what I need, but I do not think that this is sustainable especially when importing and exporting data in bulk.

I’ll appreciate any help on this!

You’ll want to take a look at the End User Manual on importing vocabularies. You should be able to import an appropriate linked data schema once you find one. Then, you’ll want to create a resource template that adequately describes your materials using that schema.
