I can't attach items

I am new to Omeka S and have been using the sandbox to try things out. I got as far as making a site and pages, and have created a few items. But when I go to Media Embed, so I can add these to my pages, no items appear.

I can add text via the HTML block.
And also added an asset - although this appears on the browse page not the page I asked it to appear on??

I have tried this in the live version I have too, but still can’t see any way to add these.

I have been following a training outline and looked in the manual and there doesn’t seem to be any reason it doesn’t work that I can see. Really hope someone can help out and I am not making a real rookie error :smile:

With nothing being listed when you go to attach things, I think that’s probably just down to you not assigning any resources to the site. If you look at the “Resources” section of the site there’s a way to select which items are part of the site. The selectors for picking items/media/etc. will choose only from that list, so if nothing is assigned under Resources, there won’t be anything to pick when you go to try to attach something on a site page.
