HTTP ERROR 500 message

Hello,
I find difficulties to access omeka public homepage. An http error 500 message displays whenever I try to open it. However the admin page displays very well and I’m even able to add new items. Can you help me to solve this issue? Thanks

A 500 error should be resulting in something being logged, for example to the Apache error log.

You can also try to turn on error display in Omeka, which often will replace a generic “ERROR 500” message with a specific one.

If the admin works fine but the public site doesn’t, my first guess would be some issue with the theme.

OK, I created another database and updated it with the tables of the former one. And the new works well.
