How to turnkeylinux upgrading from 2.3 to 2.4

The following is the http://turnkeylinux.org/omeka current install info:
Omeka 2.3
PHP 5.6.30-0+deb8u1 (apache2handler)
OS Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 x86_64
MySQL Server 5.5.55

please provide a step-by-step way to upgrade please.
This i my second time looking through the forum and searching the web to find out how to do this.

First, do a backup your current install:

  • make a backup of your whole installation, your files, your customized setting (config.ini, etc.)
  • make a backup of your database, as a whole.

Second, check your backup.

Third, download the last release (go directly to 2.5, current stable) and follow the instruction in https://omeka.org/codex/Upgrading.
