How to have item-sets under item-sets?

Hi, here’s my problem:

I’m using the item sets tree module. I have an item-set ‘A’ which has two items (each item has its own information, plus a number of media).
I have an item-set B which has 280 items. I’d like to enter collection A first (I use the ‘resource showcase’ block to display item-sets) which would display my 2 items plus item-set B, but not the 280 items, just the name items-sets B and its thumbnail as for the two items which are already in collection A.
When I use the “item sets three plugin”, either I choose the option ‘item-sets include descending item-sets’ and in this case I end up with my ‘280 items + 2 items’ under collection A, which I don’t want, or if I choose the option not to tick the box ‘item-sets include descending item-sets’, then I only have my 2 basic items in item-set A and nothing about item-set B. How do I get a third item, which would be item-set B under collection A? is threre another way to do that ?
Thanks a lot if someone can help.

Hello @mtopato ,

In that case, instead of the Item sets tree module, maybe what you need would be to link item sets between them with metadata fields (like is part of and has part) and then tweak the display to show it in a more understandable way. I mean something like this, displaying the child collections:

Hope that helps!

You might try the new Hierarchy module to accomplish this.

Thank you for your Help.

I’am trying it. thank you.
