Help with .htaccess

I’ve transferred a site using cpmove to another server. On the new server I’m getting an error "Not Found

The requested URL /home/csnell/public_html/index.php was not found on this server." registering a 404 error. I assume this has something to do with my .htaccess file in the main directory of Omeka… could someone look at the file and help me determine what is set incorrectly please?

Do you actually have that RewriteBase line commented out in the “real” version? The error you got looks like what you would see with that line in place.

RewriteBase is supposed to be set, if you set it at all, to the URL prefix you need to use to get to your site, not the local path. That is, if you get to your site at mydomain.com/~csnell, the correct RewriteBase would be /~csnell/.
