This has suddenly appeared on the login screen:
Deprecated: The each() function is deprecated. This message will be suppressed on further calls in /home/huarchiv/public_html/application/libraries/Zend/Cache/Backend.php on line 79
I see there’s a previous thread that mentions PhP changes but not entirely sure what that means. Do I have to contact the hosting company? Any ideas how to get rid of it or fix it would be appreciated.

This is appearing because your host upgraded the version of PHP on your server, and you’re running an older version of Omeka that doesn’t support that newer PHP version.
Upgrading to Omeka 2.7 will get rid of those messages.

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry if this is a silly question but my website skills aren’t great. Is there a foolproof or easy to understand way of backing up and upgrading to 2.7? I’m fairly new at this and the instructions for doing so are a bit scary. Thanks again for your help.
