Feature Request: Searchable Value Annotations

Hi folks,

would it be possible to add value annotations to Omeka’s search interface (at least on the admin side)? It would be great if I could search to see which items that have dcterms:title also have an annotation value such as dcterms:type.

One of my projects involves a student translating item titles from Japanese, and it would be awesome if she could create a to-do list via search: she would just search for omeka items where the title lang=jp and type=original.

We’ll think it over… the interface for this is pretty gnarly as it implies searching for particular values and then annotations of those values and that’s an awful lot of selections to make.

At the moment the text of annotations is included for the “fulltext” search, but of course that doesn’t provide the finer-grained detail you’re talking about here.
