When we try to install ExtractOcr we get a Call to undefined function ExtractOcr\shell_exec(). We are hosted at Reclaim Hosting and understand this is disabled at the server root level for security reasons. Is there an alternative way to get ExtractOcr to work? Have other institutions enabled that function safely for this application? Thank you for any insights you can provide.

Some hosters or your IT department may have removed the function shell_exec(). Anyway, this method was removed in last versions. Note that ExtractOcr is now merged in IiifSearch since version 3.4.15.
