I’d like to use Universal Viewer in the Exhibits pages Lightbox Gallery plugin and I wondered if this waspossible? Can anyone advise how to go about this or point me in the right direction of an example?

Universal Viewer is not designed to work in the gallery, some development is needed. If you want to include it in another widget, it may be more difficult, but all is always possible. Nevertheless, you can embed it in a iframe via the embed code.
