Exclude certain item classes

Hi there

Working on an archive. We have a couple of “special” item classes, say ClassA and ClassB, which should only be shown on specific pages. We also have a main “Browse” page which should show all items except for those of ClassA and ClassB. Is there any way to do this?

We are using resource_class_label= to create Browse Previews that include only these, but how would I do the reverse?

If it’s not possible, is there a way using item sets instead of classes?

Omeka S does not have the ability to exclude classes or item sets from search results. I’ve added an issue to the repository. We will consider it and hopefully add the feature some time in the future.
