Error 403 Forbidden

When I tried to access my site recently at https://collection.washingtonjewishmuseum.org/ I received a general error. When I changed the .htaccess file it gave me an error 403:

You don’t have permission to access / on this server.
I’m using Omeka 2.4, and I’ve downloaded 2.4.1 to update, but not sure at this point if that will make things better or worse. Thoughts?

Fixed it. It turns out that someone changed our database password but didn’t reflect it in the db.ini file. So now you know.
