Good afternoon
I have been using the value annotations feature for some time with no issues. I recently updated a number of modules, including the Advanced Resource Template module, and now when I edit an item that uses value annotation templates and save the edit, the item loses all data.
For example, the item before editing:

The item after editing:

The resource template for this item uses a value annotation template for the has current or former member property.
If I remove the value annotation template from the property, then the problem goes away, but then I also lose all my previous annotations.
Is there a known issue here, or something which I am overlooking?
Thanks in advance,
Steven Teasdale

Here is a screenshot from the resource template:
If you’re quite sure that this relates to the AdvancedResourceTemplate module, have you reported the problem to the module’s developer?
A quick look at the issue tracker for the module reveals this reported issue from a few months ago which sounds like the same thing you’re experiencing?
Thanks for the reply.
I have posted a comment on the gitlab page. It is definitely the same issue that I am experiencing.
In case someone finds this (like me), and is wondering if this is still an issue:
Just wanted to update, that I am using value annotations on a fresh install of OmekaS v4.1.1, with the Advanced Resource Template version 3.4.39 installed, and everything seems to work fine.
I’m able to assign annotations to properties, save it - and the item’s metadata stays unaffected (as expected).
