Dropbox plugin and S3 storage

Before I get myself into trouble…

As a part of uploading files using the Dropbox plugin to an Omeka installation where the access files are hosted on S3, Omeka will automatically generate derivatives and store them in them all in the S3 bucket identified in confing.ini, correct?

Yes, Dropbox should work fine with a site storing the files in S3: the originals (once added to an item) and the thumbnails will be stored on S3, just the same as if the original were uploaded through the regular upload form.
