Hi, This is a general question regarding the Universal viewer Module:
Could you please confirm if the Universal Viewer module in Omeka S supports the display of DICOM image radiology scan files? ( DICOM is used worldwide to store, exchange, and transmit medical images)
any ideas?

Universal viewer displays all formats of images that the browser can displays, so dicom is not managed by any known browser. So all web viewers convert images to jpeg (or webp or png) before displaying. This is the way all images servers work too; so if you manages dicom images in omeka, they will be converted to be displayed (if you have a converter on your server and if you config it).
