Dear All,
I am new to Omeka S. I want to create a participatory site for archivists. Very basic stuff. Still, I am a bit confused by the front page system for Omeka S. OK you can potentially create several sites, but if you want only one, you should be able to make it default, right? I read the docs and there is a bit of information on Frontpage:
- Go to Settings (the gear icon), then the General tab.
- Under the “Default site” option, use the dropdown menu to select one of your current sites.
- To remove a selected site and revert back to the index page, click the small “X” on the right side of the dropdown.
Sounds pretty straight forward, but this is the point: this option is not showing up in de the Settings at all.
So, my question is: how does it work then?
