Dataset Item Type

I am not sure if this is an Omeka or Curatescape question.

My students transcribed a set of records into an Excel file. I would like to make the transcription available to visitors of the site. I noticed that there is a Dataset Item Type, but I can’t find documentation regarding allowable formats. When I try to add the Excel file I get an error:

“The file ‘/tmp/php46PGGn’ could not be ingested because it has a disallowed MIME type (application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet).”

Hi @josephhhunter, it looks like you need to update your security settings to allow the type of file you’re trying to ingest. See: https://omeka.org/classic/docs/Admin/Settings/Security_Settings/. (This doesn’t have anything to do with Curatescape.)

Does anyone have a link to documentation regarding the Dataset Item Type?
