CSV : import File is not UTF-8 encoded

Hi ,

it seems that Omeka-s does not recognize my csv file as being in utf-8 encoding whereas I went in “options web” to check my file is well in utf-8 encoding.

As my original file was an excel one, I just chossed the type csv ( separators of values with colon).

Is there any other type that I should chosoe to be sure the module recognize my file as being well encoded ?

Excel does not reliably export to UTF-8. Your best bet is to import the spreadsheet/csv into another program, such as OpenOffice or GoogleDocs, and export to UFT-8 encoded csv from their.
