I don’t know if any of you have had this problem, but the clean URL and css editor modules clash with each other. When Clean URL is activated, CSS editor becomes completely unusable. Have any of you been able to find a solution?
What do you mean by unusable, it simply doesn’t work at all, or there’s an error, or something else?
CSS Editor is pretty simple and doesn’t do much that’s complex. I don’t know much about Clean URL though. If I had to make a guess as to where there could be a problem it would be in the URL used to load the stylesheet of custom styles, but I don’t know that there’s anything for CSS Editor to do differently.
The only thing I can say is that we use the following versions of the modules :
css editor: version 1.3.0
clean url: version 3.17.3.3
When the clean URL module is deactivated, the changes made in CSS Editor are reflected on the site. When we activate the Clean URL module, the CSS Editor module no longer works, even though we don’t get any error messages on the module interface. We can use both modules, but any changes made in CSS Editor are no longer taken into account.
