When sorting items by creator on the front page of the site, is there a way to order the respective items for each creator by date? I know that the “sort by date” filter sorts all of the files in the collection chronologically, but I am hoping to keep items grouped by their respective creators and then sort by date within those groupings. In other words, I want the “sort by creator” filter to bring up chronologically-ordered results for the items within each creator name.
I have seen an item ordering plug-in for manually sorting items in a collection which seems like it might be able to get me to that end, but is there any other function offered that could do this automatically? Thank you!
