Change class and properties of existing items

Hello everyone,
I’ve created many items using a specific vocabulary, but now I need to update them by assigning each item to a new vocabulary, class, properties, and template.
So far, I haven’t found a way to do this other than exporting and re-importing all the items.

Does anyone have suggestions for a better way to handle this?

Exporting and updating with a new CSVImport is probably the best way. Some of this can be accomplished with the Data Cleaning module, but it is quite complex and operates directly on the data in ways that make irreversible.
