Has anyone come up with a bookreader plugin similar to the one on this featured Omeka site? I have lots of booklets and magazines that would benefit from this type of display.

There are two bookreaders that you can try: the old and quick one from Internet Archive ( https://github.com/Daniel-KM/BookReader ) and the new one from the British Library ( https://github.com/Daniel-KM/UniversalViewer4Omeka or http://omeka.org/add-ons/plugins/universal-viewer ). The first uses images, the second can use images or pdf.
