Big Picture: lightGallery incremental zoom plugin

Hello,

We use the Big Picture theme for a class project, as it best suits our needs. However, the zoom function in the media viewer is limited to two modes (zoomed-in and zoomed-out). An incremental, slider type zoom, would be much more useful. Some searching has lead me to believe the lightGallery media viewer is in fact capable of that function (Settings - lightGallery), but the Big Picture theme seems to have disabled it. Is there a way to (re-)enable this function?

Have you noticed that the zoom function with the lightgallery media viewer is file format dependent?

I’m using the Center Row theme and with PDFs the zoom works well, but with JPEGs I have the same issue of the two mode zoom function. However, for PNGs on the same site, the zoom function doesn’t work at all.
