I’m working with an organization that has just begun using Omeka to catalog historical items relating to the organization, but that might not be in the possession of the group (some items are in private collections, libraries, museums, etc.).
Looking at the Dublin Core attributes, I’m not seeing a good place to record this information. Does anyone have any suggestions?
There might be something appropriate in Dublin Core Extended, but I’m not 100% sure. Spatial Coverage or Provenance seem close, but might be an abuse of the semantics of the elements.
It might be worth creating or modifying an Item Type to be very specific with a new element.
