Advanced search with diacritrics

Hi all!

Is there a (simple) way to make the advanced search accent insensitive?
For example, when I search for chateau in Title, I would like to retrieve items with titles containing château

In general it’s MySQL that’s responsible for handling comparisons like this.

In the specific case you give though, I can’t confirm your problem. In other words, if I create an item titled “château,” an advanced search for items whose Title contains “chateau” does indeed return the item.
