I think I have noticed an important error in the advanced search page. In the Settings page for a site there is the option to change “Advanced search vocabulary members” from “All vocabulary members” to “Used by resources in this site.” On the ITEM advanced search page, this works as expected. However, I noticed that when I go to the ITEM SET advanced search page, it limits the vocabulary members to those which are used by ITEMS rather than ITEM SETS on the site. Meaning, if my item sets tend to use a different assortment values and classes from my items (likely, since an item set is more likely to have, for example, the class “Collection” whereas an item is unlikely to be that class), than I am not able to actually choose the vocabulary members used by my item set, and am instead limited to a set of (potentially irrelevant) vocabulary members used by the items on my site.
Yes, that’s a bug. Thank you for reporting it. We’re currently looking into a fix here.
